About MS Access
Discontinued Versions

Microsoft has stopped providing older versions of Access .So what do you do if want to continue using an older version? To stay legal, you need to purchase a new license copy for the latest version, but don't install the latest version, but instead the older version you want to use.

Restoring Missing Fonts

The removal utility, provided with the 2000 version, does not correctly remove it. We have found another utility on Microsoft's site that is supposed to remove it correctly. Well, almost correctly. What happens is that it also removes several fonts that are needed. You would think that if you install the 97 version, it would reinstall the fonts. Wrong again! The fonts that are removed are standard Windows fonts that need to be reinstalled from original CD.

Improving Performance with Access 2000 and greater
