Speed up network access

The following changes are needed in /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
Find the area labeled Global area and make the following changes...

read size = 65536
read prediction = true
socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192

Before changing smb.conf - Opening a table with 6000 records, took over 20 seconds.

After making the above change to smb.conf, the same operation took less than 1 second. You only have to insert the lines in smb.conf. It does not require that you stop/start Samba.
